The Mariam Foundation in collaboration with the Modern University College

The Mariam Foundation for Cancer, in collaboration with the Modern University College, organized a medical and awareness day on Sunday, September 21, 2025, focused on breast cancer. The event was held as part of the “The Nurse Navigator Project,” which aims to accompany women and provide them with support and guidance throughout the screening and diagnosis process—enhancing early detection and prevention opportunities.

The event included:

  • An awareness lecture by doctors from the Mariam Doctors Project on breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

  • Participation from Astra Lab, which provided free medical tests and a lecture about the types and importance of these tests.

  • Individual guidance and support sessions by the nurses of the Nurse Navigator Project to raise women’s awareness of early screening and help them take concrete steps toward testing.

  • Nutrition consultations and guidance with nutritionist Seema Bilalta.

  • Free skin consultations and testing with skincare specialist Mira, who offered advice on skincare and prevention.

The Mariam Foundation extends its sincere thanks to the Modern University College, all partners, and everyone who contributed to the success of this event. The Foundation reaffirms that awareness and early detection are the keys to better health, and that these joint efforts will continue to raise community awareness and strengthen the culture of prevention—to change the journey of cancer patients in Palestine.
