As a part of the ongoing efforts of the Nurse Navigator Project, the Mariam Foundation for Cancer Care held a breast cancer awareness session in partnership with Lana Association and the Nahhalin Environmental Center for Women and Children in Bethlehem.

The session was delivered by Nurse Navigator Baraa Rajoub, who highlighted the importance of regular breast screenings and early detection, while also introducing the role of the Nurse Navigator in supporting women and facilitating their access to essential healthcare services throughout their journey.

The session forms part of the Mariam Foundation’s commitment to promoting health awareness and encouraging women to prioritize regular screenings, based on the belief that early detection saves lives and significantly improves treatment outcomes.

The Nurse Navigator Project aims to transform the cancer care journey for patients in Palestine by providing guidance, support, and navigation throughout diagnosis and treatment.

The project is funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS), with the generous support of the people of Japan.
