at one of the first events organized at Mariam home, a safe and supportive environment was provided for women battling cancer, through musical sessions aimed at providing emotional support and alleviating the burden of the treatment journey.
Mariam Home offer patients and their family a rehabilitating experience: Every patient admitted to Mariam Home gets a detailed work plan by the home’s social workers, building for them a complete program for his emotional rehabilitation. Social worker services, art therapy, music therapy, yoga sessions, gaming rooms, support groups and more Enhancing cancer patients’ quality of life and shifting their thoughts from negative thoughts to positive ones.
Mariam Home aims to serve the patient and their family throughout the illness and beyond, providing them with psychological and emotional support to help them overcome the disease. It also offers the patient all the therapeutic services they may need during their illness and after leaving the hospital to continue treatment. It is a warm and welcoming space that includes various health, social, and educational facilities to support the patient and help them through their journey—such as social work, psychological specialists, art therapy, music therapy, painting, playrooms and a cinema, support groups, sports workshops, and more
