Mariam Foundation in Hebron

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Mariam Foundation for Cancer organized two specialized awareness workshops in Hebron as part of the Nurse Navigator Project, in collaboration with local community partners:

  • Beit Awwa Rural Development Association, where the session was led by Dr. Madeline Al-Fararja from the Mariam Doctors team.

  • Al-Koum Municipality, where the workshop was presented by Nurse Navigator Bara’a Rajoub.

Both workshops witnessed remarkable engagement from participants and addressed the importance of early breast cancer detection, methods of prevention and psychological support, and an introduction to the role of the Nurse Navigator in accompanying women throughout their screening and treatment journey. The sessions also discussed essential topics such as comprehensive health insurance for cancer patients.

The Mariam Foundation and its partners affirm that such meetings are a cornerstone in raising awareness and encouraging women to undergo early screening—because early detection saves lives.

Together, we are changing the journey of cancer patients in Palestine.
