In cooperation with Dr. Salam Al-Qurna, Head of the Friends of Beit Jala Governmental Hospital Committee, and the organization “PalGives,” the Mariam Foundation for Cancer Support organized an awareness and recreational day for kidney and cancer patients at Al-Hussein Hospital in Bethlehem on Saturday, 18/10/2025.This event took place as part of the Pink October activities and the Nurse Navigator Project.
Members of the Mariam Doctors team participated, along with Nurse Navigator Bara’a Rajoub. The activity included patients from the kidney and cancer departments and featured psychosocial support activities for them. The audience and accompanying family members showed strong engagement with the concept of the Nurse Navigator and the importance of her role.
The Mariam Foundation, PalGives, and the Friends of Beit Jala Governmental Hospital Committee affirm that such initiatives play an essential role in raising health awareness and improving the psychological well-being of patients and caregivers. All these efforts aim to change the journey of cancer patients in Palestine.
