Mariam Foundation for Cancer Presents an Awareness Lecture in Bethlehem

The team of Mariam Foundation for Cancer, through its Mariam Doctors Project, delivered an awareness lecture on cervical cancer on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in collaboration with the Women’s Activity Center Association in Dheisheh Camp – Bethlehem.

The session was presented by Dr Firas Awawdeh and Dr Madeline Mfarja, who addressed the causes of the disease, associated risk factors, the importance of early detection, and available prevention methods. This initiative comes as part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to advancing health awareness and strengthening medical knowledge among women.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr Nadine Al-Aqra, Director of the Mariam Doctors Project, for her dedicated efforts in ensuring the success of the project’s activities and furthering its humanitarian mission.
