Mariam Foundation and the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education signed a cooperation agreement to promote and communicate the Mariam Foundation message and the message of cancer awareness in all Palestinian schools and universities.

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote community health awareness, the Mariam Foundation for the Fight of Cancer signed an official cooperation agreement represented by its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Hamed with the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education represented by its Minister, Dr. Amjad Barham, in which the agreement aims to launch health and awareness programs targeting school students and educational cadres, and encourage university students Especially from medical disciplines, to engage in volunteer and humanitarian work through the foundation.

Mr. Mohammed Hamed emphasized that this partnership represents a “human partnership before it is institutional”, emphasizing the foundation’s belief that awareness begins at school, through which we can plant the seeds of awareness and open doors of hope in every Palestinian home.

On his part, the Minister Barham appreciated the efforts of the Mariam Foundation, citing the importance of promoting school health as an integral part of the learning environment, stating that "school is not just a place for academic learning, but an environment for healthy and integrated growth physically and mentally. "

Organizing educational and awareness workshops and contests for school students.

Implementing medical and health days in schools for students and teachers.

Training and encouraging university students to volunteer work within the Foundation's programs.
