“tik tak DEATH” Work of art from the Mariam Foundation Ambassador and artist Aziz Aziz, depicting the slow death cancer patients in Gaza are facing amid the war. This work of art summarizes the horrors cancer patients are facing right now in Gaza: 10,000 cancer patients are left with no medications, food or shelter, many of whom have already died, and many other await their slow death.
As the painting says, “tik tak”, time is running out. Mariam Foundation has worked and continues to work to support the cause of Palestinian cancer patients in Gaza in all possible ways since the onset of the war: Medical aid, food parcels, emotional support while working on worldwide advocacy to make the issue of cancer patients at the center of the global conversation.
