for his dedication to helping others and giving back to the community, a value instilled in him from an early age. Shawky's commitment to making a difference in the lives of others is truly commendable, and we are privileged to have him as part of our cause and as an Honorary Ambassador of the Mariam Foundation.

CIDO, under Shawky Fahel's leadership, has led impactful international projects, including delivering 100 hospital beds to St. Joseph’s Hospital in East Jerusalem in partnership with Grand River Hospital, Saint Mary's Hospital in the Waterloo Region, and Saint Joseph HealthCare in Hamilton. Additionally, 75 wheelchairs were provided to the Abu Raya Rehabilitation Centre, with transportation graciously provided by the Canadian Government.

CIDO's efforts have extended to improving healthcare in various regions, such as co-hosting an obstetrics conference on preterm delivery in East Jerusalem, supporting the well-being of Palestinians through the Canadian Health and Research Foundation, and donating a portable, battery-operated CT scanner to the Regional Hospital of Sunyani in Ghana.

As a part of this praised and amazing journey, CIDO is supporting Mariam Foundation's efforts in the Gaza Relief  Campaign and is joining hands in supporting Palestinian Cancer patients.
