Mariam Foundation Raises Awareness on Early Breast Cancer Detection in Hebron

On December 22, 2025, Mariam Foundation organized a breast cancer awareness event in Hebron, in partnership with the Office of the Deputy Governor – Central Hebron, the Directorate of Social Development, the Nurse Navigator Project, and the Mariam Doctors Project team.

Members from both the Mariam Doctors Project and the Nurse Navigator Project participated in the event, providing women with guidance on the importance of early detection and self-examination for breast cancer. The teams also shared practical information and instructions on prevention and self-care.

Mariam Foundation emphasizes that such initiatives contribute to raising health awareness and improving women’s quality of life, as part of ongoing efforts to promote cancer prevention and early detection in Palestine.

The Nurse Navigator Project is funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS), with support from the people of Japan.
