Mariam Foundation Organizes Awareness Workshop for Cancer Patients

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the Mariam Foundation, in cooperation with Elham Al-Khair Charity Association – Nablus, which supports cancer patients, organized a specialized awareness workshop as part of the Nurse Navigator Project.

The event was presented by Asil Alawneh and Hiba Ziyoud from Mariam’s medical team, alongside the nurse navigator Najwan Yahya. The session witnessed remarkable interaction from the audience regarding the concept of the nurse navigator and the importance of her role. Participants also learned about other important topics, such as comprehensive health insurance for cancer patients.

The Mariam Foundation and Elham Al-Khair Charity Association emphasize that such seminars play a vital role in raising health awareness and encouraging women to undergo early screening, as early detection saves lives.

This is all part of the effort to change the journey of cancer patients in Palestine.
