Mariam Foundation in Tur’an – 23.10.2025

In an atmosphere filled with awareness and support, an educational lecture was held at Beit Mariam – Tur’an, targeting women from the sports club, the women’s council, and the knitting club in Tur’an.

The lecture was attended by Hanan Sabbah, Counselor of the Local Council, and Shaden Fares, Director of Beit Mariam – Tur’an, both of whom emphasized the importance of spreading health awareness and strengthening the culture of early detection among women.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Israa Namarneh from the Mariam Doctors project. She addressed key topics including the importance of early cancer detection, methods of prevention, and the impact of psychological and social support in facing the disease. She also answered participants’ questions and provided practical guidance for maintaining overall health.

This event comes as part of the Mariam Foundation’s ongoing initiatives aimed at promoting women’s health awareness in various Arab towns and reinforcing the foundation’s message of hope and life.
