Lecture at Beit Mariam – Tur’an | 16.10.2025

As part of the Pink October activities for breast cancer awareness, and through an initiative by the Tur’an Local Council in cooperation with counselor Hanan Sabbah, and in the presence of Ms. Aviva Salameh, ambassador of the Mariam Foundation, a lecture was delivered to the Women’s Club in Tur’an on the importance of early detection, methods of prevention, and key medical facts about the disease.

The lecture was presented by Nurse Layla Sabbah, who also opened the floor for discussion with the participants. Shaden Fares, Director of Beit Mariam, spoke about the role of Beit Mariam in providing psychological support to patients and survivors.
